Global transformations in teaching radiography: what can languages contribute?

The article highlights current trends in the development of radiology and the related challenges and perspectives in teaching this specialty. Today, teaching radiology at a medical university, in addition to anatomy, imaging, and interventional practices, also includes teaching new technologies, which requires the use of new educational approaches and methods. In view of new trends, a foreign language, namely English, plays an essential role in medical education, including radiology. The linguocultural competence of a medical practitioner and a research scientist is a prerequisite for his professional competence.
