Global naturalism as the methodology of education

Бесплатный доступ

The article studies the phenomenon of education in the period of Enlightenment. The author points out that certain philosophers, such as H. Wolf, G.E. Lessing, G. Gerder, substantiate the necessity of examining the surrounding world in its global unity. They believe that the development of the world is a single process of «creation of new forms» of «Images». This idea was represented by I. G. Herder, who suggested viewing history as the single process: the history of Earth creation and the history of the creation of people (society). Herder equates history and «genesis». Thus, he equates history, genesis and subjective formation (activity of the Creator). The whole world becomes the object of formation or education. The main achievement of global naturalism is the application of dialectics to history, which is viewed as the successive change of genesis forms.
