The study presents a sociological analysis of youth activism under pandemic conditions. New projects and practices of the development and transformation of urban space in a current situation have replaced traditional activities as a mechanism for realization of the right to the city. The research is focused on the posts/comments of users/audience of urban information sites and publics on social networks. The conducted analysis of the content shows that local practices of the youth in a large city mainly include DIY initiatives, street art, as well as group vocal and dance projects. The present study defines socially approved/socially condemned activities, and individual/group ones. At the same time, most of the actions and interactions of young citizens are aimed at helping and supporting others, as well as at disease prevention. Collective actions (“balcony concerts”) serve to rally residents and form a local territorial identity.
