“Cities-killers” or modern Polish city detective

The article discussed the issues of the changes in the modern Polish detective. In particular, it is examined the interest of authors and readers to the subgenre to urban spaces. Article is an attempt to determine the place of this space in the modern criminal scheme. Chosen examples of detective fiction that emerged over the past fifteen years, i.e. detectives of 21th century, became the basis for the conclusions.
