State support for production of organic products in the Russian Federation

The Earth's hourly increasing population needs affordable food. At the same time, agricultural production using agrochemicals, GMOs, antibiotics, aggressive agricultural technologies, etc. causes enormous damage to the environment and, as a result, to human health. The pandemic of 2020-2021 exposed the dependence of human health on the consumption of organic food, their importance in the formation of the immune system of a healthy person. The author believes that the development of organic production is proportional to the measures of state support, based on the analysis of federal and regional legislation, concludes that the declarative nature of state (at the federal level) support for the production of organic products; proposes to resolve this gap with the help of regional legislation.
