State policy in the field of spiritual and moral education: theoretical review

The development of the theory of education was one of the distinctive features of Russian pedagogy of the last century. The desire of scientists to give educational tasks an independent place among many pedagogical problems reflected the tendency to isolate the process of education into a separate area of pedagogical science. Since in the 21st century, focusing on an individual with a high level of morality and spirituality has become one of the main priorities of society, there has been a need to expand and clarify the legal framework governing this issue. The article provides a theoretical review of legislative acts of the Russian Federation aimed at improving the system of spiritual and moral education of children.
