State regulation of environmental protection and environmental safety in the sphere of subsoil use

This article is devoted to the study of the state provision of ecological safety and environmental protection during geological exploration and use of subsoil. The elements of the environment in the field of subsoil use are analyzed, the peculiarities of subsoil use are highlighted, and the issue of environmental safety in the use of subsoil and the main trends in the development of legislation are considered. Analysis of the theoretical and legal foundations, the legal mechanism for regulating the environment and environmental safety of subsoil use determines the study of existing problems in this area.
