National and international approaches to quality standards in testing: position of Great Britain

It describes the development, application and monitoring of the UK's existing official procedure for reviewing and registering tests, adopted by the British Psychological Society, and its development from the format of printed publications to the format of electronic review adopted today. It describes the development of the review structure and its departure from the original British format in accordance with the standards developed by the current Test and Testing Committee of the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA). It reflects the current situation in the field of peer review and registration of tests, plans and prospects for the development of peer review and registration of tests.
