The state and Russian Orthodox Church searching the ways of Russian spiritual school reforming in the beginning of the XIX century

The article is devoted to the problem of reforming the system of Russian spiritual education in the beginning of the XIX century. The author analyzes views of orthodox bishops concerning transformation of spiritual school, and examines the basic stages of preparation and realization of the spiritual educational reform within 1808-1818.
