Readiness of teaching staff for innovative activities using modern digital technologies

The successful implementation of the innovative project «Preparing various categories of the population for life in the information society» at the Miass Geological Prospecting College depends on two components: the readiness of teachers to innovation activity and their informational and communicational competencies. The readiness of teachers from the standpoint of four criteria: motivational, cognitive, activity and personal, is examined in this article. The article also provides the results of a questionnaire survey, which makes it possible to determine the current level of teachers’ readiness for innovative activities, and the presence of ICT competencies.
