The article deals with the concept of 'teacher's readiness for innovative activity'. The authors present developed components and levels of teacher's readiness to innovative activity in the context of the federal state educational standards of general education, describe the model of high level readiness. The paper discusses implementation of the project "Laboratory of Developmental Educational Technology", in the course of which the teachers, among other things, created individual maps of professional growth. The research has shown increased readiness to innovative activities in teachers who participated in the project.
