Teacher's readiness to develop patriotism in teenagers as an education problem

Russian Federal State Educational Standard of general education requires that personal results of general educational program acquisition must include the upbringing of Russian civil identity, namely, patriotism, respect to the Fatherland, knowledge about the culture of the nation. The teacher as a state representative is responsible not only for the intellectual and physical development of a teenager, but for the formation of his personal attitudes and values reflecting the teenager’s patriotic feelings. The literature on the theory and best practices in the field of patriotic upbringing was studied. The term “teacher readiness to bring up patriotism of the teenagers” was defined. The results of the literature survey were presented.
