This article briefly describes the features of the grammatical structure of the Middle English language period using the example of texts of spells and spells, in particular, omissions, repetitions, violation of word order or incorrect sentence construction are considered. Both accidental, "erroneous" violations and intentional ones characteristic of the style of the selected texts are taken into account. The article will also consider cases of similarity of the grammatical structure of a sentence with the structure inherent in the German language. The article is written on the basis of the proposed PhD thesis.
