Every day millions of barrels of oil and cubic meters of gas are bought and sold on international markets. This is preceded by a complex chain of contractual relations. And it is the contract contract that is one of the most common types of civil law contracts in the oil and gas sector. The article discusses the essence and features of the contract and their types in the oil and gas sector. Their similarities and distinctive features are analyzed.
