The article deals with the balancing of insurance legislation. The author carries out a comparative legal analysis of civil regulation of insurance contract in the Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus and Republic of Kazakhstan. It is concluded that there is a need for balancing of the insurance sphere. The positive aspects of legislative recognition of certain norms are considered.
