Humanitarian scientific knowledge in modern society

The authors of this article set as a goal of their work the identification of factors contributing to the preservation and enhancement of humanitarian values in modern society, especially the values of humanitarian scientific knowledge. It represents a direct relation to the world around, the ability to navigate in it, to find its purpose, to understand the meaning of what is happening. Humanitarian scientific knowledge significantly affects a person’s self-determination and, as a result, his life in society. In this regard, this article consistently reveals the very concept of society, using the methods of periodization and retrospective analysis gives a brief historical overview of its development from antiquity to modernity, identifies problems and the characteristics of scientific knowledge as one of the ways to solve them. Humanitarian scientific knowledge is explored as one of the core values of modern society. Factors of its preservation and enhancement are the continuity of generations, the transfer of life experience, the education of the younger generation and its training in the correct perception of the world, self-perfection, comprehension of scientific values and true knowledge, as well as the study of historical experience and culture of our society. At the same time, all this is a factor in the safe spiritual development of the individual in society.
