Description of pedagogical conditions to form information competence among future teachers

The problem of forming information competence among students of pedagogical programs is discussed, the topicality of the research is proved. The analysis resulted in generalized description of the contemporary approaches to defining the essence of information competence specify and determine it components and describe their content. A model of information competence structure is proposed in the aspect of diagnostics of its formation level. Much attention is paid to pedagogical conditions that provide the formation of information competence, identifying educational environment, developmental information competence of pedagogical program students, technologies of cognition activation based on learningmaterial visualization and individual learning path. The presented model illustrates authors' view on the process of forming information competence of future teachers.
