This article investigates the issue of professional identity among college educators. Both domestic and international research emphasizes that professional identity is closely linked to the self-determination and self-awareness of educators. A key element of professional identity is the philosophy of the profession, and the process of its formation includes educational, professional, and reflective stages. The authors present the results of a study on the levels and components of professional identity among college educators. The level of professional identity varies between young educators and those over 35 years old. Significant differences were found in the average levels of organizational, group, interpersonal, and personal identity in these groups. The findings can serve as a basis for developing and implementing programs aimed at enhancing the professional identity of educators and supporting young educators in secondary vocational education institutions.
