Characteristic features of the assignment in the course of the preliminary investigation

The investigator’s assignment is often a subject of scientific research, but the focus of attention is mainly on issues related to the form and content of this procedural act of the investigator. At the same time, the signs of the assignment - the characteristic features that distinguish it from other documents drawn up during the investigation remain little studied. This paper is devoted to identifying the main features of the assignment and their characteristics.
