The success of breeding work largely depends on the accuracy of determining the breeding value of animals. The analysis of three polymorphic loci, two studied genes of protein metabolism CSN3 and BLG responsible for the characteristics of milk productivity, showed that there is a link between qualitative and quantitative indicators of lactation. The productivity of farm animals depends not only on the conditions of maintenance and the quality of feeding, but also on the genetic potential of the organism. It is the genotype that determines the breeding qualities of farm animals, as they are determined by a complex of inherited genes. The experiment revealed that the highest protein milk content is typical for cows with the CSN3BBBLGBB genotype - 4.24%, the mass fraction of protein - 271.20 kg.
