Modern poultry meat production can be profitable only with a sufficiently effective muscle mass building. The increase of this indicator is possible only through the use of new food ingredients that are not fully studied. These substances include derivatives of silicic acid, which play an important role not only in the plant life, but also in animal organisms, including human organisms, pigs, birds, sheep and calves. These substances play an important role in the absorption of many other elements, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, aluminum and sodium. Silicon chelates as part of animal feed are used in the diets of young geese. Those have allowed to develop the optimal technology of maintenance and feeding of these animals in the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan. This is making increasing of the safety of livestock by 3 per cent during the period between the fourth and ninth weeks of poultry rearing.
