Hentaigana as an integrative component of the module "Hieroglyphics" in the training of oriental specialists and oriental teachers

The article explores the historical retrospective of the origin of the original characters of the Japanese alphabet Hentaigana, as a basic level of teaching the signs of Japanese writing to Orientalists and Orientalist teachers. An assessment is given of frequently occurring Hentaigana characters, ways of classifying them and options for using them in modern Japanese in records of cultural and historical value. The necessity of an in-depth study of the archaic symbols of Hentaigana within the framework of the subject "Hieroglyphics" is substantiated.
