Choreographic interpretation of literary works in the context of teaching choreographers

The article discusses the synthetic nature of dance art. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of choreography, music and literature. The author analyzes the problems of interpretation of literary works on the ballet scene. The article also presents possible ways of creating a choreographic composition, when the process can begin with an impression of a musical work or an impression of a life event, a phenomenon, an impression of a work of a related art form, etc., also presents an example of the author’s composition as an example of the synthesis of music, dance and poetry. The author raises the question of the need to deepen the musical education of choreographer students.
