Christian anthropology as the basis of early Byzantine conception of ethics and pedagogy

The authors examine the Byzantine conception of ethics and pedagogy formed as a result of synthesis of methods of antique education and ideas of Christian upbringing aimed at spiritual formation of an individual. In the terms of the issue of the formation of Russian society development concept it gives a contemporary interpretation of separate moral principles, world outlook, ideals, social and cultural values of Byzantine.
