The man image in «September» by Rosamunde Pilcher: compositional and linguostylistic means of creating

The article presents the linguostylistic analysis of the male personage image. The aim of the analysis is to discover the interconnection between the linguistic expressive means used to draw the character and the whole composition of the novel. The linguopoetic analysis is combined with the categorial method, that gives an opportunity to learn the deeper sides of the image and to see the authors message and ideas hidden. The writer succeeds in creating the family and home oriented image of the man.
