The artistic comprehension of peter the great epoch by the representatives of the association “the World of Art”

The artistic creative work of the representatives of the association “the World of Art” is considered. The analysis of painters’ works that reflect the Peter the Great epoch is conducted. The discovered row of publications of the beginning of the XXth century and the sources of the personal origin allow to analyze the pictures from the perspective of the fundamental principles of the historical science and to define their significance in education.
