Artistic perception of contemporary students: problems of formation and development

In the article the problem of the development of artistic perception among high school students in the context of contemporary art. The author examines the distinctive features of perception of works of art by students from the position of postmodern aesthetics and explores such features as a psychological activity, empathy, binary, spontaneity, associativity. The key position of the postmodern reception is the interpretation do not depend on the author (hermeneutic position) and not from a literary text (structural-semiotic position), and from the reader, listener and viewer. Proposed pedagogical technology development of artistic perception students works of art. The principles of the proposed technology are variable and probabilistic nature of perception, based on Dialogic art; the transition passive perception of works of art in active through free creative activity; integrative principle that creates opportunities variational interpretation of works of art; the transformation of perception in the process of co-creation; transfer of impressions received from works of art or reality to other types of art and his own artistic activity; aesthetic environment in teaching students. The author analysis of creative works of students and identifies some of the levels of development of artistic perception, such as stereotypical, reproductive, associative, imaginative levels.
