Artistic features of the cycles of historical and fantasy novels by David Gemmel "The lion of Macedon" and "Troy"

In the article it is made an attempt to review the works on the Trojan War, written since the beginning of the XX century to this day. It is noted that genres of works are diverse: from a love story to fiction. The author of the article analyzes the features of the image of famous episodes of history and the cycle of legends associated with the Trojan War.
