The purpose of the article is to examine the question of God and the divine reality in the context of his philosophy of nihilism, which is undertaken on the basis of an analysis of the perception of this issue in the Russian religious philosophy at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. In particular, the theoretical sources of Nietzsche's research on the issue are the works of the largest authors on this topic in the Russian religious philosophy of this period - V. S. Solovyov, A. Bely, L. Shestov and A. F. Losev. The key hypothesis of the article is the idea that the General context of understanding Nietzsche's thought about God is his philosophy of nihilism, which includes a wide range of issues (the thesis "God is dead", the search for the causes of loss of faith and those responsible for the lifeless morality). The work is based on historical-philosophical and general scientific methods, as well as the interpretation of Nietzsche's methodology through his own method of understanding culture - through the dichotomy of the Apollonian and the Dionysian principles of thinking...
