The article examines the ideological and semantic basis of Dostoevsky’s fiction. It is noted that the writer did not create a single philosophical composition, but all his works are devoted to the comprehension of the human spirit. Dostoevsky explores the most hidden bursts of consciousness, consistently conducting key thought ideas the idea of personality as an independent spiritual value, the idea of human suffering and the idea of God as the highest ethical phenomenon and the mystical essence of being. The idea of saving humanity is correlated with Dostoevsky with the theme of “monarchism in the world.” Thinking about the life of the earthly and beyond the topic is clearly transcendent, Godhuman, which introduced a generalized and tragic beginning into Dostoevsky’s prose. In his works, all significant facets of being are associated with the theme of the apocalypse, worldly salvation and transformation, with the idea of the historical mission of Russia and the special mission of the Russian people, who soberly mastered a huge living space.
