Thanks to the scientific and technological progress of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in particular, the achievements of nanotechnology, genetic engineering, and artificial intelligence, the once revolutionary ideas of the philosophical concept of transhumanism are becoming the realities of modern times, and the concept itself is being shaped into an ideology and movement. The transformation of the human habitat, the reevaluation of traditional values and meanings, and the creation of a new image of humanity herald a shift in the human paradigm, which is concomitant with the anthropological crisis of modernity. The aim of the study is to analyze transhumanism as the leading ideology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution era. The article examines transhumanism as a project, ideology, political doctrine, and subject of scientific discourse from the introduction of the term to its established conceptualization. Examples of the reflection of the ideas of transhumanism in various fields of life are given. The relevance of the research is due to the interest of the scientific community in the implementation and consequences of the ideas of transhumanism.
