This article considers the place of games with rules in social and communicative development of preschool students, reveals the possibility of using games with rules in the work of an educational psychologist. The paper presents the research results aimed at determining the efficiency of social and communicative development of senior preschool students through games with rules. The study shows that a game with rules can be included by an educational psychologist of preschool educational organization in various forms of professional activities.
