The work is devoted to the formation of teacher's ICT competence. The definitions of computer, information, communication competencies are considered. The article clarifies the definitions of the concepts "ICT competence", "ICT competence", subject-oriented ICT competence of a teacher. The structure of ICT competence, ways of forming the teacher's ICT competence through the formation of competencies of a graduate of the educational program for the preparation of a master student in the direction 550200: Physics and Mathematics are studied.
