The article is devoted to the application of simulation modeling for the analysis and optimization of airport processes. The AnyLogic platform, which includes methods of discrete event modeling, agent-based modeling, and system dynamics, allows for more efficient passenger traffic management. Thanks to existing simulation approaches, it is possible to create comprehensive models to optimize processes such as passenger registration, ground services coordination, and aircraft traffic management. Examples from international practice have shown that simulation reduces waiting times by 15% and increases throughput by 20% without significant infrastructure changes. The article provides an analysis of the impact of the length of the entrance inspection on the formation of queues at the airport. The research results have shown that an increase in the length of the inspection leads to an increase in the number of passengers in the queue and a change in the nature of its formation. The simulation showed that in order to significantly reduce the queues for screening under the given conditions, it is recommended to maintain the average time of entrance inspection of passengers no more than 0.25 minutes. The results of the study emphasize the importance of simulation modeling for decision-making, improving the quality of service, allowing you to quickly respond to changes in passenger traffic and optimize the operation of airport services.
