Imperatives for formation of the educational space of higher pedagogical education

Statement of the problem. In a situation of social risks and challenges, it is important to ensure uniform requirements for the results of teacher training in any university in every region of our country, which determines the need for research work aimed at studying and scientific and methodological justification of uniform indicators of the future teachers’ readiness for professional activity, which forms the basis for the formation of a unified educational space. The purpose of the article is to describe the processes of interaction between pedagogical universities of the country in the context of the formation of a single space of higher pedagogical education based on understanding of the characteristics of the unity and diversity of the components of the educational system. Methodology (materials and methods). The paper implements a systematic approach to the study of changes in the education system in the context of the introduction of unified approaches to the design of higher pedagogical education programs. The following methods were used: analysis of normative documents and the results of scientific work on the problem under study, comparative analysis of the results of monitoring the implementation of the “Core of Higher Pedagogical Education” in pedagogical universities of the country. Research results. The paper clarifies the concepts of unity and diversity in the education system as dynamic characteristics of educational space. The processes of updating the educational programs of the pedagogical bachelor’s degree are described on the basis of the unified framework approaches and requirements for the content of pedagogical education agreed upon in the joint activities of the expert participants (the “Core of Higher Pedagogical Education”). The results of monitoring the implementation of unified approaches to program design in pedagogical universities of the country are presented.
