Import-substitution as an instrument for implementation of the common good's concept

The article analyzes the Catholic concept of institutional transformation of society (the concept of the common good) within the framework of the hermeneutic, institutional and comparative historical approaches. The author proposes a definition of the role of import substitution within the framework of this concept and proves the importance of implementing the policy of import substitution, especially in developing countries, since its consequence is the development of the national economy, limiting inflation and overcoming political and economic dependence on other countries.
