The article analyzes an Anthology for individual monastic reading (chetij keleynyj sbornik) of the fifteenth century as a literary fact. Creative modifications of the Anthology's canonical base generate its semantic constant. The Anthology is represented as an author's work in the typological class of books for «ascetic reading».
