Introduction. The strategy for the development of education in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 focuses on the development of variability of educational systems and technologies aimed at forming an individual trajectory of development of a child’s personality, his/her needs, interests and abilities taken into consideration. The Federal Educational Standard of Secondary General Education defines the requirements to the result of the process of self-determination, where a high school student should be ready for self-development, independence and personal development, for independent planning and performing of educational activities, organization of educational cooperation with teaching staff and peers, for building an individual educational trajectory. The objective is to search for ways of self-determination of a high school student in choosing a professional field by creating means of pedagogical support.
