Individual educational route of a young teacher as a basis for professional growth

Increasing the requirements to the results of education system caused the need for young teachers to choose an individual route for their professional growth. The purpose of this work is to study the process of determining an individual educational route by young teachers as the basis for their professional growth. The main methods of this research are the deductive method and the method of pedagogical analysis, which allows us to take a new look at established views on main categories of pedagogical science. Our scientific analysis of the category of individual educational route is aimed at a comprehensive study of the essence and tasks of choosing an individual route for young teachers to realize their professional potential. The study showed that the choice of an individual educational route of professional development is influenced by both internal and external factors. In many ways, this choice is determined by the personal characteristics of a young teacher, his interests, spiritual intentions associated with the task of professional development. An important role in the choice of an individual educational route by a young teacher plays institutes of advanced training of educational workers, within the framework of which comprehensive assistance is provided in determining the main directions of professional growth of teachers. According to the results of the study, it can be argued that the internalist and externalist tendencies in choosing an individual route represent a kind of polarity, within which the professional self-determination of a young teacher takes place.
