Infographics as a means of cognitive visualization in teaching foreign language grammar at the primary general education level

This article addresses the problem of teaching grammatical aspects of a foreign language at the primary level. This aspect is one of the most difficult for students to master. The difficulties of learning foreign language grammatical structures in primary school students can be minimized through cognitive visualization of grammatical material. This article explores one method of visualization – infographics, and describes its specifics, classifications, and functions in the educational process. The importance of cognitive visualization of foreign-language grammatical material using infographics is substantiated. The practical component of this study is experimental learning using infographics in the educational process of a foreign language at the level of primary general education in one of the schools in Nizhny Tagil. The article describes the main stages of the work carried out, provides specific examples of infographics using English language material and offers methodological recommendations for the use of infographics when working with the grammatical aspect of a foreign language at the level of primary general education.
