This article examines the place of infographics and its possibilities in increasing the competitiveness of business electronic media. The specifics of business electronic mass media imply the use of a large number of numbers and graphs to form the exclusivity of content in an easily perceived form, therefore the importance of this type of content in business publications is increasing. In modern communication, infographics are given the functions of structuring information, generalization, and understanding. In this article, to confirm the importance of using infographics in business media, an analysis of the types, features of presentation and effectiveness of the graphical form of information visualization in business online publications "Secret of the Firm" and "Vedomosti" is carried out. These publications occupy significant positions in the business media market, have a constant monthly audience of about 2 million people and, therefore, their work with digital data can serve as a model for novice mass media.
