The article describes the topical aspects of information security in the modern educational process. The challenges of the information age are characterized. Using a system-structural approach analyzes the information security of the younger generation at the statutory and regulatory, program and technical, managerial, socio-pedagogical and ethical and moral levels. Analyzes statutory and regulatory level of information security, international, federal and regional statutory and regulatory acts. The administrative level of information security represents the actions of the management of educational organizations and educational authorities in the field of information security. Socio-pedagogical level of information security of the younger generation is associated with the professional activities of teachers and includes a set of methods, techniques and practices used directly in the educational process. The moral and ethical level of information security should include traditions, norms and rules of behavior inherent in or formed in the process of development of information society.
