Information and library policy of Poland in relation to the western regions of Ukraine: a scientific and library approach

The article defines the scientific and library approach as a single methodological principle with a comprehensive consideration of problems in the systems of scientific, bibliometric and bibliographic information; modern publications on polonistics are considered as a reflection of Polish geocultural expansion; the high correspondence of the research of Polish authors to the modern political agenda is shown; it is determined that domestic library research remains immersed in a culturocentric paradigm; the role of Polish bibliography and Estreicher’s ideology in the information confrontation is clarified; the most used keywords in the description of the resources of the National Library of Poland are investigated, as well as the frequency of keywords in the national library associated with the toponym Lviv and Ukrainian literature; the significance of the composition of the funds and individual collections of the Polish National Library as a reflection of national geocultural interests is shown.
