Information needs of creative workers as a basis of the library system in the sphere of arts

Article is devoted to studying and the analysis of information needs of creative specialists, and also problems of self-realization of cultural figures and arts through satisfaction of their information requirements by means of library and bibliographic service, including due to use as one of the leading tools of system of library and bibliographic service of the creative specialist of Worldwide network the Internet. Information requirements and requests are reviewed from various scientific aspects, results of studying of the matter are stated by other authors. Influence of informatization on formation of information needs of creative specialists is described, and also the main features of information and library service in the sphere of art reveal.
