The article deals with the contents of five information systems used in law enforcement activity in Kazakhstan. The author points out the role of these systems in the line of duty of law enforcement officers and comes to the conclusion about the correlation between processes of modernization of law enforcement system and the development of the information society and ensuring the rights of citizens.
