Information and emotional aspects of interaction with a computer in an internet-dependent person

The article is devoted to the analysis of information and emotional aspects of interaction with a computer in the Internet-dependent person. The relevance of the research is explained by the fact that these aspects of interaction with the computer change from their capabilities to the psychological problems of the Internet-dependent person which require effective ways of prevention and correction. The results of a comparative analysis of the above-mentioned aspects in Internet-dependent and Internet-independent users are presented. The study reveals the content of violations in the information and emotional aspects of interaction with the computer, leading to Internet-dependent behavior that complicates interpersonal interaction, activities and attitudes towards oneself. The authors indicate the possible ways of preventing and correcting negative changes in the personality of Internet-dependent users. They are the increased awareness when interacting with Internet information, the development of the arbitrariness of cognitive and emotional processes, the formation of positive self-esteem and self-confidence.
