Inclusive school as an example of school with a leading function of social protection

The article reveals the function of social protection of the school on the model of inclusive school. The author analyzes the current legislation at the international, federal and local levels to determine in it the rules for the implementation of school function of social protection. The model of inclusive school is described, that implements the function of social protection through the creation of appropriate policy, culture and practice. These components of the model are revealed. The implementation of the function of social protection is characterized at every level of inclusive school: didactic, educational, managerial, socio-psychological, medical. The characteristics of the basic activities of school are given in the context of the function of social protection. Special attention is paid to psychological and pedagogical support of children with disabilities in the educational process and thus the solution the issues of protection the interests of a child. The author analyzes the relations between a family and inclusive school as an aspect of social protection.
