Various aspects of developing an innovative strategy for the company's development are considered. The basic principles of forming an innovation strategy are studied. It is shown that when developing an innovation strategy, the company's market position, its scientific and technical policy, and the stages of the life cycle of products offered by the company should be evaluated. It is also necessary to take into account the specifics of the business and the external environment. It is concluded that each company needs to conduct a permanent search for appropriate methods of adapting the innovation strategy to the conditions of the competitive environment, in order to increase the efficiency of development and stability of the company's functioning.
