Innovative development of animal husbandry in the Bryansk Region

The article discusses the issues of innovative development of animal husbandry in the Bryansk region. It is shown that over the past ten years, in value terms, the production of livestock products in the region has increased by one thousand percent. The main branches of animal husbandry are: dairy and beef cattle breeding, pig farming, poultry farming. With the introduction of innovative production technologies, the productivity of animals has increased. The gross production of meat of all types in 2023 amounted to 666 thousand tons. The average milk yield of cows in breeding farms was 9032 kg of milk. In the leading breeding farm of the Holstein black-and-white breed, the average milk yield of 1800 cows was 11,590 kg. A stable material and technical base of animal husbandry has been created in the region for its long-term development.
