Innovative approach in shaping of behavior of teachers in modern society: Russian case

The article raises the question of ethics of pedagogical activity as a set of norms and rules of conduct of teacher providing the moral character of the pedagogical activities. The article presents an analysis of the current approach to shaping the future of teaching staff in higher education. In addition, an analysis of the rules relating to professional ethics of teacher, the main directions of the implementation of relevant competencies in the practice of higher education institutions. Main attention is paid to the moral and ethical aspects, as one of the most important aspects of the development of higher education teaching personnel. The peculiarity of pedagogical activity is that it is based not so much on the power of the administrative authorities, but rather on the pedagogical authority. That is why today the sphere of ethics and morality of the teacher with all its features to the foreground, and the last decade in the domestic pedagogy and psychology noted increased attention to issues of moral education.
